Blank’s levels of questioning is a technique used to help children with their verbal reasoning and abstract language skills. It is also known as ‘language of learning’ model, Blank’s Levels or Blank questions.
Aim of this workshop
- Understanding the Blank's model
- Be able to identify the level of language a child can understand and be able to set appropriate targets where you have concerns.
- Be able to adapt your language levels so that children understand what they are being asked
- Implement strategies to support language skills at a universal and targeted level in your school or setting.
Entry criteria
This workshop is for professionals wanting to learn more about the Blank's levels of questioning model. Blank's model will benefit children who have:
- difficulties understanding spoken language
- difficulties following directions and answering questions
- difficulties expressing themselves
